27th Annual Edgeworthstown Literary Festival

5th, 6th and 7th May 2023

Competition Rules:

  • Entry Fee must accompany all entries.
  • All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not have been published, accepted for publication, broadcast or honoured by the closing dates for entries.
  • All entries to be submitted in Word format
  • The decision of the judges shall be final.
  • Poems limited to 40 lines.
  • Up to five poems can be submitted - please send these as one file rather than separate files.
  • Short Stories limited to 2000 words.
  • Closing Date for entries 24th February 2023 at 5.00pm
  • Entries received after 5pm on 24th February 2023 will not be accepted
  • Only shortlisted winners will be notified
  • Do NOT include your name and email on the poem or story
