Also 5 min drive from Edgeworthstown where you can find tennis courts, a lovely green to walk around and where you can stock up on your food supplies. This is home to the famous Maria Edgeworthstown. The town is steeped in history. The home where Maria grew up is still standing and used a retirement nursing home today.
