About the Event

Come along to a book fair, hosted by Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop, the perfect addition for a festival honouring one of Ireland’s literary heroes. With new and secondhand books about Maria Edgeworth, by Maria Edgeworth and contemporaries of Maria Edgeworth  – plus a whole host of other literary gems, there will be something for every ardent bibliophile! 

Our pop-up bookshop will be set up outside the Maria Edgeworth Centre—so be prepared for whatever the weather brings!

Located on Middle Street in the heart of Galway City, Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop is I, one of Ireland’s best-loved independent bookshops Operating since 1989, this labyrinthine maze of over 100,000 books: new, second-hand, bargain and antiquarian has delighted book lovers from near and far for over three decades.
