Due to Covid-19, we have decided, in the interest of safety, to cancel our Edgeworth talk scheduled for Wednesday evening the 15th December in the Maria Edgeworth Centre. We have recorded the talk in the new library and made it available here on our website.

As part of our aims of reaching a wider audience we have prepared a short video introducing a new book on the works of Maria Edgeworth by UCC lecturer and Edgeworth scholar Clíona O’Gallchoir. The book introduces new readers to Edgeworth, to her work and the characters she has created. For those wishing to access her works a number of her novels can be read on line at openlibrary/edgeworth
