Kicking off the night, the renowned Comhaltas will set the tone with lively traditional tunes, welcoming you into the heart of Irish culture. Then, get ready for a dose of wit and humour as Enda takes the stage with his brilliant Stand-Up Comedy. After another spirited performance from Comhaltas, we’ll take a short break before the talented Mostrim Players bring their unique energy to the evening. Finally, Comhaltas will return to bring the night to a rousing close.

Comhaltas
The Joe Callaghan Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann refers to a local branch of Comhaltas and is an organization dedicated to promoting traditional Irish music, song, and dance. Located in Edgeworthstown, County Longford, this branch actively fosters community engagement and education in Irish cultural traditions. They offer music classes and events, aiming to preserve and celebrate Irish heritage. The branch is dedicated to maintaining the vitality of Irish traditional music within the local community. They have hosted County Fleadhs in Edgeworthstown and members have played all over the country.
Enda Whitney
Enda Whitney has been performing comedy all over Ireland and the World for many years. From the Kilkenny Cats Laughs Festival and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Enda went on to perform with some of the biggest names in Irish, Canadian and American comedy in Ireland, New York and South Korea. Enda is known as “a master of crowd work and a punchy story teller”.
Mostrim Players
Mostrim Players was founded in 2013 as a result of the hugely successful American Wake production for the Gathering 2013. Mostrim Players is an amateur dramatic group of enthusiastic people of all ages from Edgeworthstown and surrounding areas. New members are always welcome!
